Hello and welcome to this weeks E-Webstyle newsletter! Today we’re going to be reviewing a few marketing trends that you should prepare for and adapt to in the coming 2015 year in our article 3 Really Big Marketing Trends to Watch Out for!

We’re going to start it off with observation

Number 1 – Consumers are becoming more and more dependent on the usage of mobiles.

As of now, upwards of 1/3rd of all internet traffic is derived from mobile/tablet origins.

What does this mean for you as an internet marketer? Well for one thing, it directly translates into “have a mobile site”.

Another thing it goes into is for you to make sure your mobile site is well invested in – you don’t want to have a half-baked mobile site that scares off a potential 1/3rd of your customer base.

Number 2 – Consumers are using mobile devices for payments

More and more consumers are using mobile devices for payment purposes. Along with the previous trend, this trend is growing and growing and growing. The key here is to remember that it’s not only for payments, but can also be a business entity for accepting payments.

What does this mean for you as an internet marketer? Be sure your website accepts these various payment entities. You don’t want to lose out on a sale for such a trivial reason.

Number 3 – Social Media continually influences customer decisions

Social Media is important. In fact, it’s one of our most frequently talked about points. Besides being an incredibly potent marketing tool, Social Media allows you to connect in a meaningful way with your customer base.

What does this mean for you as an internet marketer?

Well, for one, if you don’t already have a social media account – get one. End of story.

If you do have one, be more active on it. Social Media is a growing influence and will continue to grow stronger as time progresses.

The last thing to keep in mind, however, is that you must keep professional social media pages professional.
